Sunbed Use Can Reduce Cancer and Heart Disease Incidence
A recently published study evidences a link between sunbed use and reduced risk of heart disease and cancer.
A number of members have requested further information on the recently announced study from the University of Edinburgh that shows UV exposure, including sunbed use, may be associated with health benefits such as lower mortality rates from certain conditions.
We welcome continued research in this area, particularly where it contributes to broader discussion around responsible UV exposure and informed public health messaging in the context of overall wellbeing.
